Persona Abilities |

I. Distortion / Defensive
Orbit uses their telekinetic ability to confuse their opponent, slowing down their movement to make Orbit seem faster than usual (Think of a motion sick-ish effect). It only works for a limited time, around a minute or two for now and on one opponent at a time.

II. Glow / Offensive
Orbit uses one of their charged orbs to shoot a magical attack at their opponent. It's not a particularly strong but fast attack, often followed up with Orbit disappearing/hiding somewhere. Only has up to three charges and recharging takes about five minutes.

Floating like ships in the night.

+polite, agreeable, modest
- flimsy, petty, indecisive, passive

Always smiling at you from afar, Yasu likes to keep her fair share of distance. She was brought up to be a kind girl, agreeing and helping out whenever spoken to. And she would stick to that, on the surface. She wouldn't go out of her way to help her fellows out but if asked, "of course".  It's polite to smile after all. That's what nice girls do. However, it comes with a price if you don't agree with being a friendly person. Not truly. So she holds her tongue. Because who would like to hear that they could easily do that on their own. That "you should know how to do it by now". No one and it's out of place. Who cares if Yasu thought that way. As long as she didn't voice it she could still pretend to be nice. That had to count for something, right?
She is petty, truly. Always watching others, taking note of their every misstep. Gossip is a delightful pasttime. It's easy and fun, if you make sure that you don't end up being the one talked about. And even if, what gives? Chances are, she won't have to deal with any of these people after high school ever again.
Yasu's upbringing resulted in her utter indecisiveness. Roaming all over the place, restlessly. She had potential, she knew that. Her academics were just fine. She could probably get into a slightly above average university, if she tried. But what of it? What was there for her, exactly? Almost finishing high school puts pressure on you and Yasu begins to feel that, truly. She would have to make a decision soon, become active. It just truly sucks that she doesn't know how to do that.
"well, bollocks."

Likes: seafood, gossip, sunny days, fall, steak, swimming
Dislikes: tomatoes, clowns, grape juice, snakes, sponges

[ H I S T O R Y ]

Yasu's childhood can be summed up in one word: average. She grew up with one older sister and caring parents. Her mother decided to stay a housewife until the kids were old enough to be on their own for a couple of hours- which wouldn't take too long with Yasu's sister being five years older than her. Yasu was taught early on that it was important for girls to look friendly and approachable- but to be aware of strangers nevertheless. Help others out and it will benefit you. Her initial interest in martial art was quickly dismissed by her father, telling her that it was improper for girls to get invested in that. "You don't want to look too bulky", he'd gently tell her. She'd nod and agree, just as she was taught. Instead the little girl stepped in her sister's footprints and learned how to play the piano, albeit she could never play as well as her sister. It wasn't a particularly fun activity for her either.
By the age of thirteen her mother had been working for a couple of years again. Her father growing impatient and feeling neglected over time started holding grudges against his wife's new carrier. Long story short, the once loving marriage turned into resentment and constant fights over time, eventually leading into a divorce. Yasu had heard about divorces before, they weren't alien to her. She never expected her parents to divorce- but she was old enough to understand the concept. Old enough to put on a brave face and just nod when her father suggested she'd live with her mother and sister instead. It wasn't even that big of a deal, she thought to herself. She grew to not like her father much, over the years. And her mother seemed relieved to see her daughters stay with her.
Yasu's sister didn't stay for long, however. After all she was at the age to graduate high school and go to university. She was a smart girl too. Of course she would go to a big university. Maybe even become a doctor. Yasu had no interest in any of that but her mother didn't like to see her slack off in school so she made sure to do well enough in school- even with her sister not there to tutor her. It was strange, living in such an empty household now. Time fixed that for Yasu and she got used to only seeing her mother at night and some rare weekends when the older lady would suddenly remember that she had a daughter to tend to. Those weekends were the ones that Yasu liked the least, it was awkward having to socialise with her mother like this. She didn't hate her at all, but some part of her felt resentment.
Now in her last year of high school she knew how to play charade well enough to play along with people's expectations. Except for her parents' to do as well as her sister; to set herself a goal and achieve it. She could never stick to something long enough to feel that passion.
Sometimes she felt like she was spun out of orbit, aimlessly wandering.

Trivia:
* likes to swim in her free time.
* usually agrees to dating whenever she gets asked out, despite not having any particular interest in her partner. Hence why they break it off not long after.

Format | gdocs, twitter...I guess I'd be open for discord too.
Style |  Honestly depends on whichever partner prefers. I don't mind headcanoning but lit/script rps are nice to do to flesh things out.
Timezone | GMT +1
When are you active? | Uh afternoon to night, mostly.
RP Sample | Yasu's  impatiently tapped her foot on the ground, eyes gazing at the vending machine. She pursed her lips, thinking on what to get before the, in her opinion much too short, lunch break would be over. Soda was tempting but she promised herself to start that damn diet she's been pushing off. Before she could finally make her mind up on this life changing decision, however, a strange noise caught her attention and quickly made her turn around. "What the-?"
